Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Graham Nash performed to a sold out crowd last night at the Grass Valley Veterans Memorial Auditorium. The concert was presented by The Center for the Arts.
Nash was in fantastic form, singing some of his legendary tunes, telling heart warming stories, and encouraging a very enthusiastic audience to join in on some of his songs.
In a very intimate setting attendees could enjoy his Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young classics like 'Our House,' 'Marrakesh Express,' 'Just A Song Before I Go' and 'Chicago,' while being entertained by the back story to many of these amazing hits.
Nash also introduced a new song, 'Golden Days' and shared how he and his band members, James Raymond and Shane Fontayne, warm up their voices with an acapella version of the Beatles hit 'Blackbird.'
All and all the night was very memorable with mutiple standing ovations.
In fact this producer would be amiss if she weren't to acknowledge that this concert was the best one she had ever seen from any of the musical giants, alone or together, that makeup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Thank you Mr. Nash, and your band members, and The Center for the Arts for a GREAT concert!
