Tornado damages Yuba City car dealership | Weather

YUBA CITY, CA - A EF0 tornado touched down in Yuba City Friday evening, causing damage to a car dealership.

The tornado touched down around 5:36 p.m. in the area of Chestnut Street and Colusa Avenue at wind speeds of 75 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Sacramento.

The tornado blew off a large overhang from the service entrance roof and onto the roof of a nearby car dealership.

The NWS said the damage path of the tornado was less than a 1/8 th of a mile going northwest to southeast.
