BUTTE COUNTY, CA - A man wanted in connection to a Yankee Hill murder committed suicide in Missouri, Butte County Sheriff's Department said.
Paul Edward Moreno, 34, of Stockton was wanted for the murder of David Groves Jr., 26, after his body was found in the backyard of Moreno's home on Aug. 28 when deputies served warrant at the home on Lower Gulch Road, Sgt. Jason Hail said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Moreno for murder, making drugs, growing and selling drugs, possession of a weapon and ammunition and vehicle theft.
Hail said the sheriff's department confirmed through the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, in southern Missouri, that Moreno committed suicide with a gun on Nov. 11.
The investigation into Moreno and Groves' death is still ongoing.
